Hillary is the co-founder of être Venture Capital, a firm that invests in companies that work on the frontier of science and technology to develop transformative solutions to complex problems. She co-founded être to remove barriers that stifle innovation, such as the underfunding of startups that tackle real world challenges (particularly those that manufacture); and the underfunding of women, minorities and those who work outside of traditional venture capital networks.
Hillary is a also a consultant with the Tech Futures Group and the California Manufacturing and Technology Center. Her experience as an early-stage investor, a startup expert and a community capital advisor informs Hillary in the training and advising of entrepreneurs. She focuses on strategic planning, fundraising and sales/marketing to achieve sustainable growth that can lead to a successful exit.
